Ashleigh Dunscombe, Director

Ashleigh graduated from La Trobe University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Health Information Management. Since then, she has built broad expertise in clinical coding, audit, education, casemix funding and clinical documentation improvement, across both public and private hospital sectors.

Over her career, Ash has partnered with teams to strengthen coding quality and shown how robust audit practices can safeguard revenue integrity and drive measurable improvements in hospital performance. By translating audit insights into targeted education and training strategies, she continues to support ongoing quality improvement across health services.

Passionate about developing people as well as processes, Ash is dedicated to fostering coder capability, building strong and resilient teams, and creating clear career advancement pathways within the profession.

Through her consultancy, CodeSense, Ash works with healthcare organisations to deliver tailored clinical coding services, audit solutions that protect and optimise revenue integrity, and training and education programs that enable hospitals to develop and sustain a skilled coding workforce.
